Traded our 2006 in on a 2008 today!!!
My wife and I took the Z06 for a ride this morning to grab some coffee...... we had been kicking the idea around of trading our 2006 H2 in on a 2008/2009 H2 so we swung by the dealer which we knew had a 2008 Solar Flare luxury edition that was loaded (my wife was hell bent on getting a Solar Flare). We made a great deal and traded up today.... the 2008 is such a nice truck from a luxury/interior standpoint..... and the 6.2L has noticeable more get up and go.... cant wait to tow with it to really see what the difference is.
I have to update my sig now..... its nearly dark here but I will snap some pics tomorrow and post them up

Congradulations!
I can't wait to get home and drive my new one myself. The liftkit and gears are installed, and they're going to begin installing the supercharger this week.
Next item is wheels and tires. Looking at powder coating the centers of Rockstars to match the body!

Magnuson. Just from reading other people's comments and experience, it sounds like the right setup!
I'm also having them install the Corvette shift kit in the trans.

The first time I told my wife they were called tittie vents she made a crack about "it must be the air conditioner." I love that woman!

Re: Traded our 2006 in on a 2008 today!!!
Miss it a little bit.... it was our first Hummer
Im finding pretty much everything about the 2008 being better, the fit/finish of the interior is waaaaaaay better, I was in my buddies 2006 yesterday and realize how much more it rattles on the interior. Im really liking the 6.2L and 6 speed as well.

Sorry about the pics..... the file sizes are too large to upload to this site under managing attachments. Here is a link to my fquick page where there are a few pics of the new rig along with pics of my other vehicles/toys.
