Clean installation. Where did you get the mounting plate/bracket? Was it custom made or is there one out there already?

Looks good! My AVIC-N1 w/update and NavTraffic is getting installed on Wednesday. I'll post pics after the install. I'm still wondering if someone is going to come out with a kit that matches the trim around the stereo.

TA8088: Let me know if they use the factory antenna. Seems they couldn't with my install even tho i told them too. (I am talking about the GPS / XM antenna on the roof)

Jake: Yes you can play music and do nav.. the button on the lower left lets you scroll thru stations and songs while the map is on the screen.

Mightypuck: Mounting bracket was already out there.

TheArchiTexan: cd/dvd is located behind the screen... when you press open the screen comes out to expose the 2 players.

They said that they couldn't use the factory XM/GPS antenna. They installed the Pioneer GPS antenna where the A-pillar meets the windshield. You can hardly see it. They installed the XM antenna on the passenger side of the roof all the way at the truck. You can't see that one unless you climb up on the tire and look for it. I'll try to take some pics this weekend. I ran the update disk so now the N1 does everything that the N2 does. So far I am very impressed with what it can do.
