Lower Gas Prices
I still hear people talk about rising gas prices, but....
When I bought my H2 at the first of July, gas here was $3, now it is $2.79.
Buy Hummers, they make the gas prices go down.

Re: Lower Gas Prices
I noticed that too....I filled up 2 weeks ago for $2.86, which was the cheapest I could find. I saw $2.69 yesterday. Now I can smirk at Priuses again.

Re: Lower Gas Prices
I luckily have a chevron that nearly matches the Sam's Club prices across the street.

Re: Lower Gas Prices
Gas prices are not as high as the retailers are selling them at.. I own a gas station in Charlotte right now and for the last year or so we've been running on little to zero profit margin per gallon. For the last month or so though we've been running at about 30 cents a gallon... Now I know that seems high but remember... we're just tryin' to recoup the loss that we've been taking at the pump as well... We only make money on inside sales at gas stations...
Today's retail price example
Charlotte : $2.84-2.99
My store : $2.81
Cost : $2.51-2.56

Re: Lower Gas Prices
first fill up, i paid $3.21 but this was for premium. the reggie was under 3, like $2.89
what kind of gas are ya'll using?
Also, when i picked up the H2, i noticed that the avg. mpg was something like 4.3!! OMG!!! i thought i just signed for a gas pipline! however, my best avg. fuel is 14.6 with city and maybe three minutes of 55-6-mph on the HW.. best ALL city right now is between 11.6-13.0 NOT BAD!!! i dont understand how ppl complain about how it guzzles gas, its not that bad. I know of street turbo 4-cylinders that sucked up that much gas when cruising around town.
