A friend of mine has created and patented a powered cover for the bed on the avalanche and would like to know if SUT owners might want something like it here is the website http://www.auto-covers.com/index.html please let me know what do you think. Thanks

if it wasn't retarded expensive than yes, looks interesting: would need to see the SUT design first tho

edit: don't like that thingy on the roof, you can see it when the tonneu is closed...

Exactly. It would be nice if the tonneau folded completely out of the way, which would allow you to haul taller items in the bed. The cover is a very handy item, but at times it gets in the way. I have not tried to remove mine yet, as I hear it is a PITA, but if your buddy could develop a better design, and price it reasonably, I would definitely be interested.
