T-Bars
Hello all!!! Its been a little bit from my last post but I have been busy. I have done quite alot to my new H3 and pics will follow soon. Today I did the T-Bar twist and put on the Bilstien shocks. WOW, what a diff!!! I cranked up to 22 measured from both sides of the frame just behind the front wheels and put those nice shocks on. I say to anyone who has done the T-Bar adjust to get the Bilstien shocks!!!!! To date I have done that and, custom front guard with a Warn winch, and custom full roof rack with KC lights. Next is the custom UCP, Gibson exhaust, custom rock rails, CAI, and black rims and some MUDDERS!!!!!!! I will get some pics posted tommorow of the progress so far. I still say going from an 04 H2 to an 07 H3 is the best thing Ive ever done!
Here is where I get my stuff...... www.hummeraccessories.cc Tell em Bob sent ya for the super crack head discount!!!

Re: T-Bars
Ok, u did good so far now don't screw it up by using a gibson exhaust!
Take this as a warning! Either go Corsa or new Volant exhaust. You will lose valuable low end with the Gibson!

Re: T-Bars
What's wrong with Gibson? I've only heard good things about them, especially the single side exit cat-back.

Re: T-Bars
I have not done the CAI yet, was just thinking about it. The one from Volant looks alot better than the factory one.

Re: T-Bars
I got the Volant CAI and I am happy. Took about 15 minutes to install. I have 07 H3. I have had K&N and Downey intake systems on my previous rigs. I was skeptical of the Volant at first, decided to get it and have had no buyers remorse after a month. Can feel the difference, can't notice any increased sound from the intake. Yes, the intakes are different between the 3.5 and 3.7, so be careful when ordering whatever you decide on. Rigs is looking Sweet. Enjoy!

Re: T-Bars
Does not matter what model. To get rid of the nose dive you have to T-bar crank. Then you need LONGER shocks......

Re: T-Bars
ok, i have not done that yet, but was considering moving up to 35's as soon as the 33's wear out. (i might be creative in figuring out a way to make them wear out faster)
i didnt realize that the t bar crank would require a different set of shocks.
i don't recall the other posts about that on this site showing the need for different shocks.
i thought it was only necessary to make 1 to 2 turns on the torsion bars, depending upon the size of the new front tires to have adequate clearance.
is that true?

Re: T-Bars
I did the crank on my 06 and now on the 07 with no big problems and no shock changes?

you dont need different shocks .
i have been runnin stock with 35's for 20k miles with 2 turns on the torsion bars . no problems with warranty repairs or performance .

Re: T-Bars
I have mine all the way up minus one. If you crank em up it is better to get the longer shocks. This will in turn give you more travel. Also, the Bilstien shocks help the front end after a T-bar crank in turns as well. I did a before, on and off road, and an after. Big diff!
