Default Added To The TOW List!

Towed this into place with the 2--My Helper!
Moved About 150' into place. Found out I had NO power to the Winch! On the first Pull Attempt!

So I just used the 2 And A Strap!

Started on one side.

how much did you pay for those 20 footers up there?

I figured we'd have a surplus of them around here after the hurricane blew a crapload of them miles inland last year, but the prices have gone up, not down.

I dare say you can get those containers cheaper here. There are storage yards all over near the terminals stretching out to Suffolk.

Nice pull, Z. Glad you didn't use that ugly little p/u.

I've been challenged by almost every suv and truck, and all have been smoked, the best competitor was a toyota tacoma with the V8, I just ended up running him off the road

Nice Z.

At first I thought you were talking about the little logs. What do you need those containers for anyway?

Wowsers!!! My guess is with the friction of the ground, the actual amount of pull you had to exert was around 6,000 lbs. [just an uneducated guess]

That's the preferred method with Big Nasty. He can't get out of his own way.

You probably should keep a close eye on your t-case chain as if you are doing a lot of "competitive" pulling, you WILL stretch that chain....

WIth my Humvee I pulled out a 80,000 (when loaded - he just dropped it off) dump truck and I spun all 4 tires on pavement that was about 80 degs F. I was shocked.... So was the dump truck driver.... I did end up getting him unstuck.... but he also wrecked one of my towstraps....
