What are all the details I need to know about H3 wheels?
Someone mentioned not all wheels that are the correct bolt pattern fit. Why is this? Thanks -C |
Different makes of vehicles have different lug paterns. you can get more info from your local tire/wheel dealership or the Hummer dealership.

whats the stock offset?

I know all that much
![]() What is the hub diameter that makes these wheels hard to find? Thanks -C |

All GM 6-bolt patterns are the same. Yukon, Escalade, Tahoe, pickups etc.....
Also the same as Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda 6-bolt. Just get 16" or bigger(no 15") and watch your off-set. |
what is the best offset to use?
|
I think 4.75" backspacing will work.
I'm getting proper military Hummer double beadlocks custom made and don't want to have to get them machined twice ![]() I guess I can just go and take the back wheel off and measure it, but I'm too damn lazy... -C |
I'm still too lazy, but the measurement I was looking for is the hub bore ID.
On the Colorado, Canyon and H3 it is 3.94". So all GM bolt patterns while correct have too large a hub bore of 4.595". I don't know if this is an issue? I guess not, bigger is better than smaller. -C |

FormerJeeper, the hub bore should be the same size. If it's bigger, the center of the wheel is not positioned properly, as a result, at high speed driving, the wheels shake, and in the worst case, the bolts are broken. If you want to use the wheel which has bigger hub bore, you had better use hub centric rings.

dont we have a biga$$ spindle bore (center hole) thats the excuse i keep hearing about wheels not being available that fit yet .
|
Neocon1,
Actually the H3/Canyon/Colorado is smaller than the normal GM trucks which is 4.595" - this is why it wont work. Thanks BB this is what I thought ![]() -C |
i thought f5 posted we have different axles than canyon / colorado . dont we have a full size truck axle ? i heard armada wheels and escalade wheels fit .
|
Yeah Neo,
I read that too in the last week that the H3 has a larger size truck axle. |
I guess I'm going to have to pull the spare and measure it
