Re: Lemon buy back
All you can do is contact GM Customer Service and file a claim. After they review and refuse, you will receive a letter telling you to take it up with the BBB.
I really do hope you get your buy back, but it has to be through GM, the Dealer will not buy it back, so it's David against Goliath and in this story David usually gets creamed.
By the way, Adam in Co has a direct contact, maybe he can pass it along to you.................

Re: Lemon buy back
State to state, lemon laws are different. Check on line on Lemon Law for your state. If you have purchased from official Hummer dealer, chances are good to escalate down to litigation, but if purchased from local used car lot or individual, it will be hard to establish the case.

Re: Lemon buy back
Seek an attorney. My dad's 2008 was in the shop countless times for a whole laundry list of electrical issues...transmission not shifting right, doors locking mysteriously...its been ripped apart so many times that it has numerous rattles etc.
He got no satisfaction from the non attorney conduits. Dealer said he suggested him to get an attorney so he did. that was about 2 weeks ago. I dont have an update yet.

Re: Lemon buy back
Sounds like the BCM. After five years of owning two H2s, I've found the main weakness with dealers is their reluctance to change the BCM which controls a myriad of things, from windows, to seats, to door locks, to instrument cluster, to sunroof, to the automatic lights, to the air suspension & leveling (is so equipped),, to inputs to the TCM and transmission. The only problems I've had with my H2SUT has been the back window would just go down on its own, the automatic lights would stay in the night mode all the time as well as the Nav display and the passenger seat electric heater stopped working. It all seemed unrelated to me and to the dealer on the first visit. The second time they replaced the BCM and voila, everything normal again and no problems since.
