The way the kits are designed you need a wheel with less backspacing, and sometimes increased diameter.

Re: 6in lift?
you will need shocks with the kit , so check with 4-wheel parts they sometimes run free shock promotions with their lift kits . i think you found the most economical one available now . the rancho is probably the best available now . Keep shoppin !!!!

Just curious, what's the reason for wheels with less backspacing on the lift kits?

Haven't seen one in person, but I'm guessing there's some clearance issues with the brakes and new knuckles due to some geometry changes. Here's Rancho's wheel guide for the lift from their site.
Maybe someone with the lift can shed some more light.

Re: 6in lift?
I just installed a 4" Rancho on mine. Took me about six hours. The kit is really well made and rides much beter then it did when it was stock. I had to install a set of YJ boomerang shackles because I had clearance problems with my aftermarket hitch. It would have been fine with the factory hitch. With the extra lift from the shackles I had to crank the front trosion bars up to five inches. But you could get six if you wanted to. I'm running 35-12.50-18 Procomp Xtreme all terrains on 18x9 Moto Metal 955 with 4.52" of backspacing. You could run the stock wheels if you had some wheel spacers.

It's because of the spindles, The lip of the rim rubs on it. You would need bout a 1.5" wheel spacer to use the stock wheels.
