You could speak to your service department and/or rental company directly and explain the situation to them and see if they have any other vehicles available now. When I took my vehicle in for warranty work several months ago, I got a PT Cruiser, which I think wins the award for the worst rental vehicle I was ever given. I called the rental company the next day, and they had a Grand Prix available, which was like night and day compared to the PT Cruiser.

Dan, did you get your truck back? More importantly, did you plant the dairy?

I used to get an Escalade when I had the H2, but now with the H1 (bought new from the same dealership) I have to rent a car... apparently the AMG / H1 doesn't provide loaners...go figure!!

the H2 dealer In Grand Blac doesn't give loaners.
the caddy dealer I bought my Gmc Truck from did, and so did the one Ann Arbor that wrecked my GMC truck...they had it 30 days(ripped a hole in the box side hitting the building 10 days in). I took it in for the trans, but it wasn't right, so it went from there to the selling dealer for another 11 days. I had two loaners for a total of 31 days...free. and yes the selling dealer fixed the truck.

Yes, and no. The truck is back and everything is fixed.
I returned the loaner right from work so I didnt have a chance to pick up any groceries.
I did happen to leave my garage door opener in it though. Back to the dealer...

Dan, now the opener is going to stink up your truck. Take a zip-lock.

I just brought back a Deville that I had for six days. I'm so glad to be back in the H2. The deville is alright but the Hummer is like nothing else.

I just got the brake recall card last week and made an appointment for last Monday to have that and the oil changed (Mobil 1).
Got a Caddy CTS, then a phone call from the service advisor to say they could not do the brake recall as they did not have the correct tool. I'm going to have to go back again.
It's funny though as when I asked my salesman originally what was the program for loaner cars during service he stated I needed to pay an additional $800 for three years of service rentals. I told him I did not want it.
I got a loaner anyway, I guess it's a scam for more cash at purchase.

I dropped off my H1 today for service and tried to get an escalade. Turns out 1 was going out and the other one was reserved for someone who requested it. My next choice was a Deville and said No Thanks. I got a Silverado. Thank god I think I would have park the Deville in the street and left it there until my truck was done. The silverdo is a much more comfortable vehicle.

I just took mine in for service today, Cracked windshield and a few other things. They gave me an Esclade to drive. I don't know why people have to decide between a H2 and an Esclade. There is no comparisson. It is too soft of a ride and there is too mush plastic that dosen't fit well.

I'm taking mine in for service tommorow....It's a caddy/hummer dealer. I'm hoping I get something nice becuase I have a hot date after work. I know it shouldn't matter but I would much rather show up in a H2 or a Escalade than a POS. That's why I dropped the $$$$ on a new Lux H2!

The dealer is under no rule to provide a loaner. If you get something for free be happy. And if you didn't buy it from us you didn't get one. And most Buicks smell like ben-gay, it comes taht way from the factory
