Default Noob question here...

Hey guys,

Just picked up an '04 H2s with 50,000 miles. I love it! Pics coming...here is my dilemma...my truck is about 1/8 - 1/4 inch too high to fit in my garage. It does have the air ride suspension and yes, I have it lowered all the way down. How do I get another 1/4 inch to fit this monster in my garage. I would hate to lose my man cave over a 1/4 inch. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Scott

1. Take off the roof racks.
2. If you have an electric garage opener - adjust it to open more.

You could always build a bigger man cave.

I do have another 1000 square foot shop/man cave, its just 50 yards behind my house...I am too old and fat to walk that far!! I might be able to adjust the garage door another 1/4 of an inch!

Its specifically the LAST roof rack that is too high...my light bar and middle racks fit, the last row must be slightly higher...

Air down the tires before you pull in the garage and air back up when you pull out.

Check the wood trim across the top of garage opening. It is most likely 1/2". I removed mine with a couple simple tools and rear rack fit in with no problem and it slid all the way to back. My ride also has air ride but, with this 1 alteration I never had to adjust anything on the H2 I just drove it right in.

Step 1: Drive in fast enough

Step 2: Discard all remains of new opening

Step 3: Enjoy new opening
