If the quick disconects are disconected from the system as you indicate, and the tires remain inflated it should be in a hose or other connection back to the compressor. The reason the " Low Tire" indicator activates is because there is no back pressure supplied from the tires back to the sensor when the quick disconects are un-hooked.
Reconnect the system back to stock, and inflate it to about 50 PSI.
Get yourself a spray bottle with a soapy water solution and start spraying all the front lines,connections, schrader valves ETC. When you see something bubble, you have found your leak .
