Ree is not coming

Child care arrangements are a bitch when your sugar momma wife is on call, your nearest relatives are 300 miles away, and you've recently moved away from where your best friends live

Good news is I don't have to ride on rodster's crapper because of my winky comment about paper obstacles.

Rodster, thanks for the pick-up and put-up offer. I really appreciate the hospitality. I was really looking forward to seeing your badass truck in person.

Guys, don't go broke buying prizes for each other and giving them away.

Try not to schedule it when I'm in Hawaii or SLO or the Hummer Academy or the Katemcy Rocks events or when I'm sleeping or when I'm awake or when I'm eating or when I'm hungry and sure, I'm in. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Sorry - To clarify I am coming from San Fran Bay area (about 7 hours north) and my friend is coming from Ramona (In the hills above San Diego). Not sure what route he will be taking but I will be coming down I5. Haven't done the map research in exactly what highways I'll be taking after I5 since I will be inputting my destination into my GPS and just following what it tells me to do.

I will email him today and ask him what route he is taking. I directed him to this thread to catch up. He read a bit of it and now he;s all stoked to go...LOL Must mean you guys (and gals) sound like fun.

Here I am! racer's official colorful sidekick and navigator

Thanks for the invite by the way. Love a good road trip.

As far as driving up from San Diego/Ramona...I'm very flexible regarding route/meeting place.

The most direct way seems to be up North up I15 towards Victorville or spots nearby.

We can probably pick you up in Barstow. According to my software, we should be there approximately 7:30 PM.

Let me know!

I need to go to AAA and get a map today so I can figure out how this will work. Ideally his car will be near where we exit the mojave rd on sunday.

HummBeBe is right, I think. Barstow is a few miles towards SD from Afton Canyon, which is where we'll exit the trail.
