I don't know. To be safe I would say the 10" version. Because when you drop the ball, the top of the ball is still sitting pretty high they way it's made IIRC.

Actually, if you really want to be safe, you'd do like I suggested and measure your tongue height. And that's what I did on both trailers, which both came close to the "gold standard" of 18 inches. Using the same approach recommended by Jay, and factoring in the height of the ball, my conclusion was that 8 inches of drop was what best fit my needs.

And why the phuck are you questioning my advice when you are running the same exact phucking hitch as me, you phucking redneck?

I did neglect to mention that I do have air, so I didn't need to compensate for suspension sag. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Look here you coon-ass muther ****er, I wasn't talking to you. I was trying to help the person originally seeking advice. So you can keep your white sheet wearing, cajun-cum recepticle closed.

Wassamatta, you can't cuss like a grownup?

Now, back to the matter at hand, you can't exactly measure the tongue height of trailers you don't have. So, as stated previously, the average gold standard for non-swamp-thing-gator-baits is around 18"

And, oh, TX I didn't question your advice. I was telling dude that I would go with the 10" rapid hitch, not a 10" drop. The rapid hitch is an adjustable hitch.
