To be honest, if you are not taking it off road, I see little need to buy any SUV. Granted they are stylish and functional, but you will be paying a lot of money and burning up a lot of gas to haul around all that extra underbody armor and 32"+ tires.

You'll get a more comfortable and sensible ride with a street ride like a Mercedes or BMW SUV. Buying any Hummer for strictly on-road use is like using a bazooka to kill a mosquito. Perhaps you should rent one for a few days to drive around to see how you feel about it.
