Fubar is an unknown quantity at this point

I think as is commonly know fubar stands for, F’d up beyond all recognition, someone already had that name when I registered for this site so I added 00.
The name and its meanings for me go back to my early years this pretty much summed up my life. I couldn’t tell if I was coming or going. Everyone I touched or knew personally had something dreadful happen to them, everything I got involved in or with seamed to get messed up seemingly by my mere presence.
I’ve always been involved with photography and I had gone to an event called a photo-day where I met some retired military guys. Par for the course of my life to that point I ended up tripping over a light stand, snagging a sync cord that was attached to someone’s camera and basically falling equipment and all into the lake where this group of military guys were taking pictures of some bikini clad lady. One of the military guys plucked me out of the water and set me on the bank laughing his ass off, as were a hundred other people that witnessed my act. In parting he simply said “man your fubar’d”. Long story short he ended up being a photography professor who took me under his wing and furthered my education in photography, and some life lessons along the way. We ended up being great buddies and while my clumsy misadventures ended long ago this military man and his buddies still to this day refer to me as fubar.

Sorry that was a bit long winded. I tried to keep it short.
