I test drove a hummer a couple weeks ago (don't have one yet). It would not fit into my underground parking without taking off the cross bars on the roof rack
I had the salesman on the running board guiding me into my garage until I heard a frantic STOP!!! LOL
No hummer for me, at least until I move to my new place. The garage there is 7"9" clearance.
