That LR3 had an 8cyl.
The H3 may have come out on top if they had compared it to the 6cyl LR3.
I think if your main concern is buying a good daily driver you may want to consider the LR3 It has a lot of creature comforts, but for off roading of any kind I think you would be happier with the H3.
