I definitely think that the H3 needs an AUX jack....that's something I'll miss when I trade the Element in for the H3. I use it every time I'm in the car...
As for FM modulator's- I think they're pretty much useless. I have the Griffin iTrip and since I live in a fairly large city it's pretty much impossible to find a blank station that I can use to play the iPod.
