Are there holes, or at least spots marked to attach the mud flaps to, or do you have to align them up if you plan on doing them yourself...as I plan on doing? I see that there are two fasteners in the wheel well where a mud flap would go. Is that where you attach the mud flaps?
Also, are the mud flaps sold at h2parts.com the same as the ones installed by GM at your dealer?
Thanks

Thanks for bringing this up. I am curious about it as well.
The other question I have is are they $75 a pair or $75 for the set? The websites seem to be a bit confusing, and some go as far as saying "front pair" and "back pair" where others just say "splash guards".

I bought mine from the same place and they are very easy to install. You can use existing screws in wheel well.I did drill holes but only threw plastic liner for more secure fit.

I had the splash guards added before I picked it up at the dealer. The cost was $75.00 a set + labor.

Hmmm...My splash guards are being installed by the dealer. $140 for all around and no installation charge. I remember another thread where the dealer was charging $300 to install the brush guard. Yes the Hummer website is confusing. It states splash guards for the front, but then the picture shows them going on all four wheels. My husband looked at the picture and I read what it said. From other sites I gleaned the price per set, and then verified with my dealer that I wanted them all around.

I ordered mine from h2parts.com and got all 4 for $75. They are easy to install, but require minor drilling. I think h2parts.com is Lynch Hummer's parts department. You can always call them directly to ask questions about availability/installation.

This is for the GM mud flaps.Yes you do use some of the existing push clips. For the front mudflaps you have to use one bolt that is already there and they want you to drill two holes right through the painted part of the fender.I didnt want to do that just in case i wanted to take them off so i used 3M gray tape and it worked well. They also want you to drill a hole through the black fender well and use a push pin they supply but i didnt the 3M worked good enough that i didnt need it.The back mudflaps use one push clip that is alresdy there and they give you a screw inplace of the other. And again they want you to drill trough the plastic back bumper but here again i used the 3M tape.

You locate each guard with the existing screw then use it as it template for drilling the new holes. I only used the screws at the edge, not the push-lock. I don't think it adds much if any strength. If the guards start to move, I'll add the push-locks. Remember, you're only drilling into the plastic wheel flares so its very easy. Be careful not to use too big a drill bit so the screws will have good bite in the plastic.

Paid $42 for fronts only. Install was easy, even with the rocker bars.
Oh, they don't do alot to keep the side of the H3 clean but they DO keep crap from building up around the door handles. After driving for a month in the slush-bound northeast I was getting sick of having gravel/grime covered door handles (the front was especially nasty ). Now with flaps installed I've got nice clean non-grungy door handles.

I installed the front and back guards today. Very easy to install. Turn the front wheels and each side took less than 5 minutes. I had to take the back tires off, but then it took less than 5 minutes to install the back ones. If you have an angle drill you probably won't have to remove the back tires. Very thought out kit. Also the guard material and texture matches the plastic body panels.

I also installed my own front and back guards, took maybe 10 minutes, i didnt even remove the rear wheels, just drilled at an angle. Looks great and they work well at keeping the truck cleaner and no mud on the door handles !
