The Bridgestones are better, not only off-road but in snow, the have a heck of a lot more sipes and a better block design. The Wrangler RT/S tires are garbage in my opinion and only suited for light off-road and highway use.
The shocks are heavier, or at least I was told that by an engineer on the Hummer project.
My opinion, get both the lux and the off-road; I did, and I love it.
