I have 2 boys(8mo and 4yrs). We've been talking about trying for a girl lately. You're right though, buying toys I couldn't have, buying anything the wife needs(Rover ) and being debt free gives me such a warm feeling of security. Having spent almost $10k in XMAS presents this year equalled my annual income 7 years ago! I love giving to friends and family without expecting anything in return. But I always say to myself, be prepared! This might not last! So I invest heavily.

I have yet to experience your teen years, but I hear it's easier with boys.

Because I'm always on this Forum, you wouldn't think I'm on a plane almost 3-4 times a month this year. I hope this will not be the case in a few years . Thus my statement about being just like you. Yes, life is good. I hope it gets better.

And those who think money can't make you happy...
