That's cool dennis!!! Why is it that Japan is always three years ahead of us in electronics? Oh yeah, because they will pay the premium price for stuff and Americans won't. Same with Cell phones. The American carriers eat most of the proce of cell phones. They are more expensive in Europe/Asia, and more advanced.

Mac and Dennis, I agree that it is great to be finacially independant, especially at such a young age as me, but I don't agree that money buys happiness. You guys talk about stuff, but I can tell that what really makes you happy is your family. Since I don't have a family yet, but i do have a lot of money, I can definately say I'm not as happy a person as you guys. I can buy anything I want, but what good are objects. The reason money makes you guys happy is that you can afford to spoil your beloved families with it. That wouold make anybody happy. But the Beatles were right, money can't buy you love. Just gold-diggers... blech!

I agree, Argo. Financial independance at a young age is great. I, however, still have financial dependance on my F*$#@TRMETWIG$ STUDENT LOAN!!! Well, I'm 2 semesters away, and I'll be done, but I hate to think about paying off that sucker. Personally, Christmas came first, the loan is not due yet, and all is right with the world. Now if I could just get an in-cubicle back massage from the company nurse..............

Yes, this is my truck. No, I will NOT help you move.

If one is unhappy, not saying you are, the cause is not "having money", you'd be less happy or miserable if you are unhappy and no money. It is better to be unhappy and have money, than unhappy with no money. As such, Argo, you are indeed a lucky man. We all have less money yesterday, at least for me, I was very happy yesterday, I was happy even when I had no money, I was sort of happy when I was in the river building bridge for the tanks to cross, I was happy even when I had to ask for money from my parents when I was a teenager. I am always content and happy, if I live a good and honrable life, good things will come my way, always.
