I am just thinking ahead here. Given the previously mentioned windshield snow accumulation problems, I wonder if anyone has considered making a front (electric) windshield defroster. It would only need to be about 3" in from the edges of the windshield and 1"-2" up from the bottom. I know if it was well done that I would buy one.

Don't you use your front defroster? It should help with the problem. I think it would be much better than a thick red wire taped all around your front windsheild.

The best solution is to move to California.
I have yet to have a snow problem with my wipers.
