To: Mike97ZJ, Zazing, SJ, Matverick:

Sorry for the delay in answering your posts.

Mike97ZJ: No trails, this is a 25 arce plot of my fathers in the loess (pron. luss) bluffs near Omaha. 20 of the acres are heavily wooded, 5 somewhat open, very hilly and all grass/brush/small sappling covered (thus the branch trimmers (not bolt cutters...funny!) in hand). Those 1" diameter sapps can/have scratch(ed) the paint.
As far as the fire situation, I watch that very closely, so far...no toast.
I always have another person with me, anyone near Omaha with a vehicle want to go? The last pic is a steep hill which I eventually backed off from going down due to the slick conditions...a few of the earlier hills I took had me going up 3/4 the way, losing traction, and sliding backwards all the way back down the hill. (short hills thank goodness). This hill didn't level out before crashing into trees...I will wait until it's dry to take it.

Zazing: I love the orange, I couldn't decide for quite a while between Orange/Red/Yellow (to match the NE plates...not). Orange won out because, depending on the light, it looks from orange to bronze to copper to red....cool! And you're right, no chrome is best for contrast.

SJ: The NE plates!!!! Irritated a lot of people, but they do grow on you, and we can tell were not from Iowa...nothing mean here...I lived in Iowa for a short spell, and this property is actually on the Iowa side of the Missouri River across from Omaha. The TOPSPIN is for my tennis business, I am a professional tennis instructor/racquet stringer.

Matverick: Limb pruners they are! Mat...I have been in Omaha for all except 1.5 years I spent in Denison, IA as a construction resident engineer. Yeah, that's my side job , environmental engineering, (hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste).
I have a brother up in Chamberlain, SD....where are you, I can't find Mina, SD in my atlas? Send me an e-mail off forum if you'd like, hum2@cox.net.

Ric
