Arlin Ness has really boosted Victory Motorcycles, but how does it compare to a Harley?
I am really close to buying a H-D Softail, but should I even consider looking at the Victory instead?

I like the Harley for the lore, the Victory is a great bike too. Personally I like the Triumph cruisers better. Nice ride, great style, do not see one on every corner (unless you want that) and price is way better

I would get the harley.But what do I know I ride a old honda.

I won't argue with that. But I only get out on serious rides about twice a year and I couldn't justify the money for a KTM. Would love to own one though. |

At a glance I thought that fender had the "beak"
Nice FXSTI, Ric. Probably the one bike that has the most stuff for it out there.
Ed has the same grips on his Night Train that I did on my FXDWG. I had Python3 drag pipes on mine but I can't tell what's on Ed's. It's been 4 or 5 years since I've looked at all of the stuff, but the new pipes I liked were Vance & Hines drag pipes. They had the integrated heat shield and was a smooth looking set of pipes.
You gotta get new pipes, grips, and pegs pretty much right off the bat. After that it depends on how much you want to spend and how soon.

They Harleys look malnutritioned in comparison to the Victory models.
