Thanks everyone for the comments!!
So far I've discovered that the left switch is for changing the NAV screen over to DVD. The right switch is still a mystery!
And Phil, you are right about the stock tires. They do look a bit, well, small. 
The Onstar was put in the glove box.
I'll take more pics today with my floppy ears attached!
