That was my first thought. Small exhaust leaks go away when the engine warms.

I'd check the oil, the light did come on, right? Low oil can cause a ticking.

NOW....who can gues how much the dealer is charging me?

(PS..i dunno why all this came out underlined..i cant get rid of it)

Do it yourself. I did mine and it took less than an hour. If you do take it to the dealership, they shouldn't be charging more than 2 hours labor. (roughly 160-180 bucks?) plus parts (you'll need exhaust gasket, donut gasket and replace ALL the bolts)
