Tire noise from the 33" Bridgestone Duelers less than you would expect

Have to agree the Dueler A/T aren't that bad. I had the Dueler A/T Revo on my Blazer. Awsome offroad but the road noise was a lot worse. I them went to Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor and they made less noise than the A/T's. My next tire on the Hummer will be the Wranglers.

Welcome to FL. Wash those bugs off because if there are any love bugs on the paint, it will eat right through it

Re: ROAD TRIP !!!!!
Road trip wrap-up and random observations!
Just got back in town.
2617 miles from Midwest to Sanibel and back.
Longest leg of trip coming back 850 miles in one day. I know there was some discussion on the seats; I had no problems, no sore back etc.
Averaged 17.7 mpg on the trip which I am pleased with.
All highway but left with only 485 miles on the truck, so it was hardly broke in. Mostly cruising between 70-75. Loaded down with a lot of luggage and stuff we never used.
Cruise control is a little funky...downshifts on slight upgrades then accelerates past the point you set it at.
Cruising not noisy considering you are pushing a brick with all terrain tires down the road at 75 mph.
Love the height.
Couple of times I could have used a few more ponies under the hood. Overall the acceleration is adequate...I think sometimes its just the sound of the engine that makes it seem underpowered when the actual acceleration is OK.
Had to make one emergency maneuver when some Jeep Liberty decided to switch lanes into the spot I was occupying. The H3 handled it very well. The exact same move in my old LR Discovery would have been a white-knuckle experience.
People driving around Atlanta are crazy ... I swear I got lapped by some white haired lady doing 90 in her Lincoln.
All in all very pleased with my H3! Very decent highway cruiser considering that's not its mission in life.
(diffs in perfect working condition even after conquering some of those dreaded Florida speed bumps)
