Re: Thinking of buying an H3 if...
Well, after much thinking about this subject I've come to the conclusion that it won't be feasible for me to own & drive an H3. Sadly, my dream has come to an end. I have found that there won't be enough room for my wheelchair in the back of the H3. I was really looking forward to joining the world of wheeling with you great people. I've looked at so many different brands of 4X4s and have never found another group that's as entertaining and fun.
Maybe I can hitch a ride with someone that's going to do the Rubicon. I live in Sacramento so it's just up the hill from me.

Re: Thinking of buying an H3 if...
I like your attitude! Is there a smaller wheel chair available...just wondering. Is the heavy door opening/swing a problem?
Best regards, Happy Jack

Pull the back seats out... Who needs passenger? They'll just give advice and make high pitched noises when you screw up!!
What about a hitch mount wheel chair carrier. This option may be a PIA off road. Of course a little mud and it'll match the truck.

Many years ago 20? I sold my 1966 oldsmobile toronado to a handicaped person and he was able to fit his wheelchair in the trunk and shut it.He also liked the big doors and was converting it to hand controls.
Im sure you could get one to fit in the H3, dont give up so easy.
How about getting a wheelchair to fit the H3 instead of getting a rig to fit your wheelchair.Maybee a off road type wheelchair will work
Good luck

Eric I say No way. You would be better off if you would hook up ballons to your power chair.
