Re: Teasing
Well, glad to see that I've been left out of this party. I wanted an easter egg in my basket too...
Actually, I'm hoping that a cheaper Hummer comes out, so I can buy my H2 out for my business, and then have something to drive on the side.

Re: Teasing
NO, it is not an H3T, it is not an H3X, it is just a 2007 H3 with the standard engine; no a V8 or diesel.
The mirror, big enough to dress with in the AM, is fugly, like it has been said, it does serve a purpose.
The tire carrier is obnoxious, in my opinion, but many will like it. I didn't notice the little extra compartment in front of the shifter, I was too busy playing with the mirror and the screen and inspecting the mysterious powertrain that is not part of the Hummer world.

Looked like some kinda new fangled, hybrid jet engine . i think it's supposed to have like 20" of wheel travel too . i'm not positive, but i heard they were gonna offer tank like tracks for it too for some serious wheelin. and of course a 50. cal mount. ok, i'll stop. i'm just gettin stupid now. yea i know, i was stupid before .
hey hummerguy, did the 3 you got pics of have a sunroof? just wondered if they added a close-out piece to cover up all the internals and tracks.

Re: Teasing
Hmrguy-yea it is quite an opening. i thought the original was huge. not that it opens any bigger, but the rear passengers get some sun now too. looks like from the pics that the headliner closes out a little closer to the glass and covers the unsighly tracks. Thanks for taking time to post those pics. did you see any other interesting off road competition other than the fj or wrangler?
Fstop-I'm not a fan of the spare cover either. i kinda like the tire uncovered. seems the 'x' is gear'd more towards the city folks and bling lovers. not a bad thing, just not for me. the rear view mirror is fugly. saw it a few months ago and thought it was just a prototype waiting to be compacted and refined. that's what i get for thinking. what with the A-plr blind spot and the wide screen tv(rear view mirror), we might have to have a front view cam . not much w/shield left to see outa.
take care

Re: Teasing
That was from GM's booth at the 05 Sema show in Vegas. There were more H3s there than any other vehicle, at least I thought so. Didn't see anything too crazy as far as off-roaders, but they always have a pretty impressive rock-crawling demo area. I noticed that little tray thing in an 06 this morning. When did that change?

Oh well, I was hoping for something substantially new on the H3...
