What is the largest spare tire the rear gate can except?

HummerJim is an unknown quantity at this point

It's going to be more a function of the offset of the tire rim you are using that determines it. If they have the same offset as the stock Hummer ones, I would guess another 3 inches width would be OK, just looking at mine and taking a WAG.
