OK, so I guess I'll give a little back story here.

I created my site a few months back and posted a bunch of pics from the NCHG trips I went on and used the club's name in the descriptions, etc. I also had put some Google ads on my site to try to recoup some of the costs. This apparently got the ire of Brian Piazza and his minions*.

So after a discussion with him I agreed to make some changes. I removed all the ads and the club's name from all galleries and trip reports. Being a personal page with no possible commercial gain, he shouldn't have a problem, right?

So then comes the Pismo thread, Bebe's vid, angry PM's and emails, and all sorts of BS drama. Apparently Brian wants control of anything to do with the club and its events, including people's personal pics/vids.

Then the paranoia completely boiled over and we were accused of "sharing ...private correspondences between club officers" and were given the boot. Whatever.

So who wants to go to Moab in August. I already have the time off. No waivers.

When I told him I broke my front diff in Moab, he said "that's what you get for going out on your own". Nice eh??

Okay, I haven't read all 12 pages of this thread yet, but This fellow will go to Moab in Auguest and take other H3's out there, but he probably won't take them on Golden Spike, and if he does, he's looking at the same issues unless he finds a parking lot full of rocks to stack at the bottom of THE obstacle. Don't give him the benefit of your expertise any more Beebs. Sorry this happened.

How's about a SoOR-X club? I'm with you guys. I love gettin kicked out of clubs!
