Wow, I never realized that's so close to me. It's maybe 30 minutes away. Too bad you have to have a group of three every time. If you'r coming up again though, you'll have to call me! That would make two...

I used to go there everyday during the summer as a kid. I grew up here, and have been away for a few years and have decided to come back.

I'm headed down to Assateague Island in the beginning or second week of August. That's a fun trip. If anyone's around, maybe you can come you fishing for a day.

That's scary! Like I replied on that thread, if you go out there, it's a lot more primitive and secluded than you think (which is why I do go out there in the first place ). You gotta prepare just like you're headed to the wilderness for a day trip. You can drive for 30 minutes and end up a day's walk from help! Factor in very little fresh water, horrible mosquitoes, and the harsh, chilly nighttime costal environment, and you can be SOL in no time.
