1. Get tires in 315/75R16. If you're going to spend $$$ on tires get the size you REALLY do want.

2. You live in MI. As I understand it lots of snow and ice. Just like in MA. Due to this look for a tire that is siped. The BFG AT KO is siped. The BFG M/T is not. If you get the M/T plan on the extra $$ to have them siped.

3. I love my BFG AT KO's everywhere except for sticky mud. Everywhere else they totally rock. In sticky mud they suck.

4. Take a look at the Toyo M/T, and the Cooper STT. Both are really serious M/T tires and both are siped. If I could do it over again I would go in this direction. If you can live with the sticky mud suckyness then the BFG AT KO rocks.

Good luck.

I'd go with a black rubber tire with a hole in the middle so you can put it on a rim. And I wouldn't get the rubberband model.

Just my opinion.

He should be.

Fine. Get the Toyo M/T's or the KO's in 35". You'll be very pleased. The Toyo's are nice and quiet on the highway, too.

I am runing the BFG All Terrain T/A on my H2. I have not had in problems with them at all. I ran them in the snow up in Flagstaff Az on some Off Road trail's and they did great. I have not had in problem with them in mud yet.
The frist set of tires that came with the Hummer (BFG All Terrain T/A ) I replace them at 52,000 Miles. My friend that is a manager at Discount Tire Store, told me that I got 5,000 miles over what they should be for tire wear, and I did do a lot of Off Roading with them.
