I have a brand new chevy loaner minivan from my dealer while H2 is in the shop, & I get a whopping 14 mpg. Compared to 11 in my h2, wheres the fuss?
Got a flyer on my window, re: selfish, irresponsible.....hummer driver, and all my wife did was use it as proof she's been right all along,(about my selfish irresponsibility, not the h2)

When everyone has a hybrid. They will be charging us 10.00 per gallon for gas cause they are not selling enough product. Then the SF bonesmugglers will be bitchin bout aids research funding! Or save the yellow snakes...

Just think about the amount of gas tax increase to supplement lower consumption, or decay of our highways. Afterall, less gallons of fuel=less road tax. So tax would theoretically have to go up if less fuel was sold, or our roads would have to find other funding sources. |

I'll bet he lives in a 20,000 square foot home and only uses 4 rooms, the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and den. He has a fire in the fireplace during the summer. He heats and air conditions the whole place. Now that is real waste. Talk about wasting energy.
By the way, OPEC and the oil traders set pricing then pass it on to the oil companies who pass it on to the owners of gas stations who pass it on to you and me. Everyone is having record profits, except for the user!

Don't dictate to me what I can do with my hard earned money.
