I always wondered about the rattle can on the rim's. How do they turn out? And does the clear coat on the rims make the color peel or crack at all?

Thanks Phil. Your rig is looking very nice. I always wondered how long it would last. Did you unmount your rim's to rattle can them or just tape them off?

Thanks Phil. I'll have to get a friend over with a jack and see how mine turn out.

Painted chrome? Unfortunately Phil, I don't see that lasting. What did you scuff them up with? Shy of sand/media blasting them, I don't see anything sticking for any amount of time.

Hope I'm wrong but after being in the bodyshop for 25 years, I've seen my share of chrome painted parts and have yet to seen one survive a stone chip, etc.
