Thumbs up Re: DASH BOARDS

OK Stuart,

You got some more of my business!!

I'm going to the dealership tonight to pick-up some stuff I had ordered. I will check on price and availability of a new overhead console. Since I figure this part contains $.03 or $.04 worth of plastic it shouldn't cost more than $50 - $75 from Hummer, RIGHT?

I will try to get a new part and send it to you for the Denali treatment. That way I won't have to drive around with a bunch of wires and switches hanging down for 3 weeks!!

It really doesn't matter what color of console I buy if it is going to be treated with Denali does it??

I'll call you tomorrow with my results from tonight's visit to the dealer. Just hold onto that check of mine untill we figure out what we are doing - OK?

rumor has it that the overhead console is sold with the parts in it only and costs the big bucks. Better off leaving the parts hanging there

---or Stuart may have one lying around

mowdoc,

The wires NICELY shove up into the hole where the console was, it's NOT A PROBLEM . Also, like tomp says, you CANNOT just buy the console without all the switches and all, I think it's like $600.00!!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing is you CANNOT use your Sunroof or Homelink

How come the H3 section is not talking about these kits? Stuart can do their H3s as well.

What is it going to take for all you non owners to place your order???
I have received tons of PM's with questions but no orders!!
Let me know what i need to do.
I found out yesterdat the TV SHOW "UNIQUE AUTOS" that does celebs vehicles uses the same suplier and he charges $5,000.00 + for the same stuff.
Lets get creative and make some deals. With the finish the sky is the limit.
Thanks,
Stuart (574-830-0238

Howdy friends,

Last night I priced the overhead console at my dealership - AKA: THE LARGEST HUMMER DEALER ON THE PLANET and HUMMER'S NUMBER ONE DEALER. The console MUST be bought complete with all the switches, lights and Homelink. And the price quoted to me was $765.00!!!!!! WTF is Hummer thinking??

So Stuart, I'll have to call you when I'm ready to do this part. I'll pick a time when I'm going to be out of town for a while and maybe I won't miss it so much while you "do your thing" to it.

I'm still in shock, I think I'll go lay down for awhile.

Seriously mowdoc, the wires all nicely tuck into the headliner. It's been 2 weeks, and not a single wire has fallen down. Like I said, the ONLY inconvienience is not being able to use the sunroof and having to use the garage door remote. DO IT!!!
