Wrong. Sorry. We mix and match all the time and never have any issues whatsoever. Just did a Toyota oem sirius setup and they forgot the antenna so we used a Terk XM Micro and it worked like a champ. I have used the oem xm antenna with sirius tuners in many many gm installations.

interesting.. crutchfield advised they are not interchangeable.. maybe they just don't know.
