Am i wrong?

Yes.

My 35's only rub if I crank the steering wheel all the way. I thought this would annoy me but I don't even notice it. AND the technician at the dealer said that it won't hurt anything. If you are in full crank, then you are not going very fast anyway.

And bumps? Have you looked at the stock H3 lately? It already has a lift compared to - well - everything else stock!

I was a sceptic at first but no longer. The benefits of the trade off FAR out weigh any disadvantages.

I am running 33" BFGs but am considering bumping up to 35"s and know they will rub slightly. I say go for the 35"s, you will love them. If you are worried about the slight rubbing, just keep in mind that some H2s rub with the stock tires, no big deal.

hm.. is there nothing in between that would work?

or if you go 35's are there maybe some aftermarket wheels with better backspacing that would allow for no rub on the inside?

How about rubbing inside the fenders on full compression?

finally, do you have no problems with transmission due to the increase diameter (ie engine having a harder time)?

I'm running 35's, and no biggie for me. I can still make a u-turn in the second lane.

What impact do the 35's have on acceleration and mpg?

Toyo makes a Open Country AT 295/75R16 that is 33.5 I think.

The Toyos barely feel any different onroad than the stock Bridgestone's. Very smooth ride and not much of an increase in noise.
