...hole on my rear bumper is for the wire that comes out for rear license plate light on rear spare tire carrier. sometimes i like the look of the back without the rear spare tire carrier...most times the rear apare tire carrier is off the H2...less weight to carry i guess and sometimes easier to clean also especially for a short guy like me...

It is definately a 2004 - you can tell by the clothes pins on the rear vents - they modified the back end in '05 to remove them

I know that. That's why the one in the first pic isn't an '06.
Having the rear tire is great for rear-enders. Just as Arizona Hummer about the Jeep that hit him at 45 mph!!!!
