I have to admit, the first night I had mine I did it. Sad thing is, I got out, shut the hood got back in and did the same damn thing 
The hood release is located at about the same place the break release was on my other SUV. GF did it once or twice too and now she isn't allowed to drive it anymore

Gee thanks. If you don't hve a 5 Speed Manual trans, you probably don't use parking break much. I never do unless it's a manual.

I have a auto, but my dad taught me to always use the parking brake. He said it was a good habit to have, but I can't remember the reason.  |

My driveway has a nice slope to it so I use it on a daily basis.

I am with you, I only used my parking brake twice in the year that I own it, but both times I popped my hood when I went to release the brake.

well atleast your not pulling on them hood handles i pulled and pulled and no matter how hard i tried , couldant get the hood to tilt forward
