Hey Guys,
Just Noticed That My Speedometer runs about 1.9 Miles Fast, nd My Odometer Logs 25.5 Miles for every 5 Miles.
Is this within Spec?
I Bought it Used, But it has 315 17's on it that I think are stock.

Could it be that the previous owner maybe reprogrammed for larger tires? Is therea way the Dealer could set up back to correct?

Thanks!
Lext

Thanks Man,

1.9 Miles off at 65.

The Only Reason I Noticed it was I Got a new Nav Unit.
I Actually thought that may be Within Range. I Wonder how many cars are off but nobody notices because there is nothing to compare to!
anyways, Thanks! Again! As Always!

possible solution to find your exact speeds and distance. Most highways have exact mile post markers to check speed and distance. You can do a speed check. At 70 mph it will take 51 sec, 60mph, you will go exactly 1 mile. 50 mph will take 1 min 12 sec, 40mph will take 1min 30, With this method you can tell your exact speed and will be able to tell if your odometer is off. Being a ex-locomotive engineer, this works really well.
