Default Re: H2 Tire Presure

I've run mine at 37 psi until yesterday after reading this post. I ran to the gas station and upped them to 45 psi. I hate it. Too harsh of a ride and my dash rattles now. I think that I will try 40 today.

I am runing the Stock Size BFG, A/t on my H2 and I am runing them at 40 psi. I have been geting a nice ride out of them. I have ran them at 35 psi off roading, but I put them back up to 40 psi for in town driving.

you ran your tires all the way down to 35psi?

How did you not blow the tire off the rim?

I run the recommended 37. I've gone up to 42 and found the ride to be too harsh. I would play around with the numbers - 37-45 seems a good range, and see what you're comfortable with.

I was in Moab back in june for the Hummerhappenings that my SLC dealer sponsered and they aired all of us down to 20 PSI for the Hells Revenge Trail. There were 23 Hummers total; two H1, five H3 and sixteen H2. Now, some of us had different wheel / tire combo's of course, but the stock wheeled rigs did just fine at 20. Damm it was fun there....
