Getting ahead of traffic at least for me was staying in a lane until it ended and jumping over at the last minute so you get a head of traffic. The left lane had about 30 cars in it so I passed them in a legal lane on the right. That lane was ending so I jumped over and the cop get me for getting ahead of traffic and costed me 100.

And that's illegal because, what, passing on the right? What state do you live in, Hawaii? Hawaii statute makes it seem like passing on the right is okay.

In some it's legal to do, pisses people off if the left lanes are moving slow and people pass them up, but still legal.
