Re: WTT: Supercharged '04 Pontiac GTO (575 HP), for Hummer H2
Selling the GTO has proved difficult at best. I'm sure some of you are having the same trouble with the H2's.
I really want to trade, that would make it so much easier.
I did notice that there are very, very few H2's for sale in this classified section. Are I looking in the wrong website?

Try ebay or just go trade it in at the dealer for an H2.

Only 10% of vehicles listed on ebay actually sell. There is no way I'd take a car to a dealer for trade in, they won't give you anything for it then sell it for a huge profit.

Around here an 04 goat, loaded, brings around $25k. The fact that it is blown and makes hella power reduces it's appeal to most people (you may have driven it hard).
We may not know what our Hummers are worth, but we do know how much we have in them. See where this is going?
Don't give up though. Someone may be tired of buying fuel. Or looking for a parking place big enough.
I doubt you will find a good Hummer for a straight up trade though.

Re: WTT: Supercharged '04 Pontiac GTO (575 HP), for Hummer H2
The dealership i bought my H2 from also carries pontiac and the gm(which is a buddy of mine) told me they couldnt give one away. Unfortunately limited demand of new GTO's would surely give you an idea of the demand for a used GTO. That being said, your car will take a particular individual but for that individual your car is his/her dream car. Good luck!

That's funny, I have it advertised on autotrader, several GM performance forums and a couple other forums for vehicles I'm interested in (like the Hummer) and just recently dropped my asking price to $25,000. It's amazing that you see all stock '04 GTO selling for $25K in your area.
I have $35K+ in mine with the performance upgrades, none of which affect the drive-ability of the car. It performs just like stock untill the gas is pushed quickly causing boost to build, then hang on because it is an animal.
I know no-one knows how I treat my GTO, and likewise I don't know how you members treat your Hummers. All we can do is take someones word for truth unless they give you a reason not to. Hummers can be abused just like a high-performance sports car.
I'll keep checking back every so often, maybe someone will step up for a trade or a trade plus maybe a little cash from me. Speaking of gas milage, I get 21mpg city and 25mpg highway. That's amazing considering the amount of power on tap at all times.
