The sticker on my H3 was over $41k. Edmunds says I can get $32k for it? I was hoping that somebody here who has some experience selling their 06 H3 would tell me they got a better price, or perhaps a dealer would let me know what they're giving for them.
So, none of it is stumping me. Your links were of no help because I don't they reflect true market value.

Re: So, how much can I expect?
They reflect the market value on what a DEALER will give you for it trade in--they cant give you 36 for it as they would make no money on it re-sale. They can sell it for around 32-36 becuase they can offer financing etc. right there to an potential customer, where as you cant, hence the reasont eh value is lower for private party. 41K sticker--I doubt you paid sticker--honestly, the truck GMS price is around 36K new, so dont expect to get even close to this. The minute you drive it off the lot, expect a depreciation anywhere from 13 to 26%, regardless--its just a fact of life in buying a new vehicle.
Best thing is to either list it yourself somewhere and hope for the best, keep it, or eat the loss and move on.
You can get a Brand new H# stickering at 41K for 35-36 K after the rebate, so why would anyone want a used one for that much??

Re: So, how much can I expect?
why not take off the bolt ons and use them on the next one?
I can get u a GMID# and let u buy it for a grand +/- less than invoice.
let me know.
no rebates on 07s right now, $500 off 06 and 0% for 60 months or $2500 off.
I looking at 06 and 07 right now but I buy for GMS price.

Kinda sounds worth it. I wish I'd got a sunroof and leather. Would it be worth it to pull my accessories, and trade up? God knows my payments should go down.

Re: So, how much can I expect?
Well, thanks for you input guys.
I am not looking to trade it in and as I stated in my original post, would try and sell it through the newspaper. I'd keep the bolt ons as well. Of course, I didn't pay sticker, but most people are not up on what discounts you can score on them. Living in a Colorado Ski town, there are many people with $$$ that don't care to drive 3 1/2 hours to find a dealer... so I might just get lucky with a higher asking price.
Again, thanks for your help.

Re: So, how much can I expect?
Sounds like a $27000 H3, that's what I'd give you trade-in.

Re: So, how much can I expect?
we got 34K for ours when we sold it 6 months ago. less miles than yours though. Same options. more aftermarket stuff though. IMO, I bet you would be hard pressed to see 30K with the incentives going on.
Since you would be buying a new one: tell your dealer you need a price to sell it so you can buy a new one from him/her. Once it sells, you'll buy a new one. tell them up front no trade/ no chance. that should get your true number.

Re: So, how much can I expect?
While looking for an H3 the dealer had 2 used lux, offroad H3s and I priced them.
one had 16,000 miles.
They wanted more than I have to pay and it didn't get 0% financing.

Re: So, how much can I expect?
I bought mine for $50 over the GMS price and would not even get close to that on trade!
