Does anyone elses Front RS9000's have Rigid boots? the Boot on Mine is attached at the top and the bottom simply moves up and down over the shock body very similar to the stock one. I'm only asking because I just saw this new install and they have the soft rubber boot? Do I have the Wrong Shock or were they changed in the recent past?

All the new front shocks have the rigis boot. I think they cut CO HUMMERS off so they could install the yellow booties.

Yep, Custom booties. They ask me to autograph the old ones and they mounted them on the wall in their Hall of Fame section of the store.

They run like a champ up to 75mph. Haven't taken them above that yet. Noise is not a problem.

So we wheeled today and I FINALLY got a chance to give the new mods a test.

The tires are GREAT! I love 'em. They walked up everything today with very little spin.

I'm not sure how much credit to give the tires vs. new Rancho shocks vs. the new steering stabilzer. But I gotta say that I was blown away by how much better my rig rides offroad. unbelievable.

The steering stablizer in an ABSOLUTE must for anyone that wheels. You can really feel that thing dampen that previous whipping motion I used to have. I'd say my steering was 10x smoother that it was before, and that was when I had smaller tires (35s). No more death grip on the wheel required.

I'm finally sold that good shocks make a difference. When I drop off a rock or a ledge I no longer get those 3-4 neck whipping aftershocks. Smooth, plush, and minimal rebound. I will never wheel on stock shocks again, ever.

37's are where it's at. There was some rubbing in the front, but it was so minimal I couldn't tell while on the trail and we did a lot of two-point-turn switchbacks today.

I'm not counting wheel spin when you're sitting on your rock rails.

But then again, it's probably hard to tell when you sitting on your la-z-boi. Try again, web-wheeler.

Nah uh... I'm watching ATV racing on ESPN 2 right now.

BTW, can't wait for the in-house tech to arrive Monday. We're going to take care of this wobbly front end.

That's not fair. Fedex him here when you're done so I can get some stuff done. Thanks.
