Rod Hall Shocks
"These shocks have a patented inertia active valve that adjusts automatically to any conditions. It's remote reservoir allows for extra oil capacity and cooler operation and it's high pressure gas-charged monotube construction eliminates foaming of the oil and dissipates heat more effectively for increased durability."
All monotube shocks are high pressure charged. It has nothing to do with the vehicle. It has to do with keeping the oil in suspension and not foaming up.

Some shock manufacturers feel that monotube design removes heat better, but it will also lead to oil foaming if the pressure applied to the oil is not high enough to keep it in suspension.
