1 problem I see is u need to carry tools to get take it apart to use your spare.
would be a real pain if u left them at home.

If you're on the trail - you better have tools anyways.
Since I have the unit centered where it's it's supposed to be, I might just drill a small hitch pin hole through it.

Has anyone thought of removing spare and bracket and makeing a new bumper w/swingaway spare and gas can mount?
